Even though it shouldn’t be. Well.. what’s been happening.
Big news! Graduated last friday. Big ho-rah at uni, formal day, capes hats and on-stage events. All in all it was pretty fun, and a nice way to cap off the time at uni. That night was even better – got a limo into town (well, it drove around town for an hour for fun), drank up at the summit and then the shangri la (the summit rocked, the shangra not so much so). Crashed that night in a huge apartment suite that had been booked beforehand. All in all, one hot night! Gotta do the high rollers thing at some point in time hey..
Work related stuff is going well too. Been researching a lot lately, updating myself on a few key points. Learning proper OOP methods more. If you don’t know what that is – trust me, you don’t want to know.. so I can skip over all that! Our *********** company’s CO is back in town so its back to proper work with him on projects, pitches etc. Should be good, keeps me versatile. Picking up a few more freelance gigs, they are looking quite interesting, all over the place! The era of bits and pieces.
A random moment. Washed the car in the rain today. It was great – the simple things hey. Should do that more often. Water restrictions here suck, and washing the car.. well thats enough effort as is. Have the rain do half the job for you, and you’re set!
Avoding getting sucked into the whole E3 hubub lately, my time is thinly spread enough as is. PS3 too expensive and unoriginal in design, but blu-ray will be teh win for when I get an HD display. Xbox HD addon sounds lame (a second optical drive? zzz). Wii continues to have an ass-tastic name but innovative concepts. Who will win? Who cares, its all about who has the prettiest graphics and a fun game or two. Playing deus ex right now, back to the old school but fun. BF2 is ok but has lost my interest, DX2 was too frikkin short, max payne 2 was fun while it lasted, serious sam 2 blows, the new tomb raider blows, and cs:cz didn’t install so laaame. I should really get cs:source sometime and just give in to the dark side!
Again for randomness, a pic of Mitsi (my cat). She’s umm.. close to four. Still curious as ever. Nearly got stuck behind my desk just then. Funny animals.
By the way, I do want to move this to wordpress sometime… but can’t be bothered. I’d also like a more full on site that featured a blog… but can’t be bothered. Learning AS2 is taking up enough of my ’spare time’ as is..
